Sujit Kumar Mishra has curated the wonderful book “Winner of the Day”. He is an author and a software engineer. He has an interest in music, acting, and traveling. Let us know more about him in this interview.
Q1) How did you understand your calling as an author? What was your first writing experience?
Ans : I have started my writing career in 2019 in Mumbai. it was a very difficult task for me. Because of that time, I don’t have any proper guidance regarding writing. I was staying in one very small room with my 3 friends like PG in Vile Parle(Mumbai). Since I was a software engineer and my job is always unstable in my career. During that period, I have to lose my job due to the project being closed. During the period of approx. For 3 months, I don’t get any jobs. I faced lots of rejection for jobs.
My First book “Dot net & MVC interview questions: Interview Preparation”. When I ‘ed approached more than 20 Books Publication houses. They all rejected my Synopsis but I never compromised for rejection. And finally, Notion Press accept my proposal and published my books.
Q2) How did you decide the plot for “Winner of the Day”? Give us a short brief about the book.
Ans : The “Winner of day” is a story about the common man and his dream. I have plotted Five parts. The Childhood part of the small city of Jamshedpur, Adult life in the Metro City of Delhi, the economic lifeline city of India which is only one Mumbai, the busy city of Bangkok, and finally Los Angeles (USA). The first time one of my Friends Mr. Jeff. is a Canadian novelist helped me for plotting the story of the Novel.
Q3) Nowadays a majority of the youth is much more focused on social media rather than reading books. What is your view on this topic?
Ans : Yes, it’s correct, I agree with you a majority of youth focus on social media but it’s not all. Education is the being of life and education is the art of life. As we know your knowledge is never lost in your whole life. And knowledge is always come from good books, not from social media. And I believe wise people and rich people have always focused on good knowledge and good books. If you think I’m in one of these, so you will always choose a book.
Q4) Kindly attach the lins of your book so that the readers can get a grasp on these beautiful reads
Ans : I have to share some beautiful things about this book ” I have Indicated the major impact of social media in our youth.” and finally social problems and the importance of yoga.

Q5) We know that there is a lot of hard work that goes behind the launching of books. From preparing the final manuscript to writing the first draft till publishing. Tell us how your experience was and to whom would you dedicate your success in this entire process.
Ans: Winner of day is was my first paperback fiction novel which was published by Evincepub Publishing. “Winner of day” novel I had completed in 3 months during the lockdown in India. This project was hold due to the lockdown in India and finally, after one year finally got an agreement from publication then after one month my books got published by Evincepub Publishing. I also suffered lots of rejection from the “winner of day”.
