Jayant Chaudhary praised the national government in the Rajya Sabha on Saturday for bestowing the Bharat Ratna on his late grandpa and former prime minister, Chaudhary Charan Singh, in a remark that suggested his leaning towards the Bharatiya Janata Party. He claimed that the working style of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is comparable to his grandfather’s.Last month, Jayant Chaudhary, whose RLD is significant in Jat-dominated districts of Uttar Pradesh, declared a partnership with the Samajwadi Party. But according to recent media reports, he was considering forming an alliance with the BJP in preparation for the next Lok Sabha elections.
He stated there wasn’t much left to say when the BJP announced Bharat Ratna to his late grandfather, presumably to make the partnership more palatable. “PM Modi’s vision has accomplished what past governments were unable to accomplish until today. The head of RLD said on Friday, “I would like to once again express my gratitude to PM Modi’s government for encouraging the people who aren’t part of the mainstream.””When asked whether he is prepared to work with the BJP-NDA, Jayant Chaudhary, the leader of the RLD, responds, “Koi kasar rehti hai? Is there any doubt? Aaj main kis muh se inkaar karoon aapke sawalon ko. How can I say no today?)” he continued.
