India is constantly increasing its military power. The country achieved great success on Tuesday in this order. India has successfully tested its supersonic cruise missile, the BrahMos. It was developed by the Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO).
According to national media reports, the BrahMos missile was successfully tested from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Tuesday. This is an upgraded version of the missile. The missile test was a land attack version of a cruise missile. Its deadly capacity has been increased to more than 400 km. The test was successfully conducted at 10 a.m. today. It has been developed jointly by the Indian Army and DRDO. It is reported that it will be tested in both Pakistan and China in the coming days.
Notably, the BrahMos is a supersonic cruise missile. It is currently serving in the Indian Army. The missile was first launched by the Indian Navy in 2005 in INS Rajput. In the future, all warships will be equipped with new missile upgrades.
Earlier, the Indian Army had deployed BrahMos missiles in its three regiments. India is constantly engaged in strengthening its military with indigenous and foreign weapons. As tensions remain high in Ladakh over the past few months, India’s acquisition of new weapons will further boost the morale of the military and worry the enemy.
