Various farmers’ organizations are opposing the new agricultural bill. They have been protesting on the Delhi border for more than two months. Meanwhile, several foreign celebrities on Wednesday tweeted in support of the movement. The Foreign Ministry then responded and told them not to get involved in propaganda. Indian cricketers Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane have launched a hashtag india together campaign on twitter today.
“Everyone is here together at this time,” Virat Kohli said. Farmers are an integral part of the country. There must be a solution between the government and the farmers. “Everyone will move forward,” he said.
Rohit Sharma said India would be stronger if everyone was together. At this point, the solution must be found. Farmers play an important role in the country. “Everyone will try to solve the problems of the farmers,” he said.
“There is no such thing as an unresolved issue,” Rahane tweeted. “Everyone will unite and resolve the issue in the country.” Similarly, Sikhar Dhawan also tweeted on this on twitter handle as #IndiaAgainstpropaganda.
Former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble tweeted that India could solve the issue on its own.
