Amitabh Kant, the former CEO of NITI Aayog, announced Kochar’s passing on X, formerly Twitter.In London, an Indian student lost their life after being struck by a truck. The event happened a week ago. The dead has been identified as London School of Economics PhD student Cheistha Kochhar, 33.Kochar had previously worked at NITI Aayog.
He died in London last week following an accident. She was a PhD candidate at LSE, studying behavioural science. She was the daughter of Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) Director General and retired Lieutenant General Dr. SP Kochhar.
Cheistha Kochchar had moved to London in September 2023, prior to which she resided in Gurugram, Haryana. Ahead of getting admission in LSE, she had completed her studies at Delhi University, Ashoka University, and the Universities of Pennsylvania and Chicago.
