Mykhailo Podolyak, a counsellor to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, on Wednesday characterised Chinese and Indians as having “weak intellectual potential.” He reversed course, though, after the Ukrainian foreign ministry distanced itself from the remark.
