Biswanath Nayak, a weightlifter from Jeypore, recently won the gold medal for India in the International Strength Lifting and Inexin Bench Press Championship in Kathmandu.
The Nepal Strength Lifting Federation hosted this tournament, which drew more than 500 participants from nine different nations. Nayak competed for India in the Masters division.
