Investors’ Meet Held At Raipur To Showcase Investment Opportunities In Odisha

On July 14–15, 2023, the Government of Odisha held the successful Odisha Investors’ Meet in Raipur with the goal of luring investments in a variety of business sectors. The purpose of the roadshow was to highlight the enormous potential of the Biju Economic Corridor along the Biju Expressway and the favorable business climate provided by Odisha in these industries, enticing investors to investigate investment possibilities in the State.

The occasion was attended by Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary of the Industries Department, Pradeep Kumar Jena, Chief Secretary, Pratap Keshari Deb, Minister of Energy, MSME & Industries, and Chairman of IDCO and IPICOL. More than 200 delegates from Chhattisgarh’s diverse sectors actively participated in the roadshow.

Minister of Industries Pratap Keshari Deb welcomed everyone to the Raipur Roadshow and officially opened it. In order to inform the audience about the State’s economic environment in the metal ancillary and food processing sectors, he stressed the commitment of the Odisha government. He emphasized Odisha’s outstanding development and success, highlighting the state’s strong growth rates in the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and its quick industrialisation.
