March 13, 2022

The month of March 2022 was quite an important phase in the political sphere. 5 major states in India had their state level elections, i.e, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttrakhand, Manipur and Goa. The state level election was not only important in terms of building the core developmental structure of the state in the upcoming years but also it was important on political withhold of the particular state as well as PAN India level. Well, the results are out and it had some major indications of political scenario that India might see in years to come.
The results of the elections gave indications of how a political party will sphere up in the upcoming decade or so. While for some political party the result just stamp their authority in the state and PAN India even more, for some the results showed that it is the start of the end of a age-long dominant party. However, for some political party the results just sprung hope and aspirition to become a strength at PAN India level.
While Bhartiya Janata Party just stamp its authority not in in Uttar Pradesh but also Goa, Uttrakhand and Manipur, the Indian National Congress was considered the least important party in all the respective states. Therefore, while BJP just seem to grow stronger and stronger to become the most powerful political party of India, it really seems that days are now numbered for Indian National Congress unless they opt out from hereditary based leaders and go for drastic changes. However, what sprung a surprise and a ray of hope of a strong opposition in the future is the emergence of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab.
Aam Aadmi Party not only won the election in Punjab but made Congress (the previous ruling party of the state) look like a small cake. It was a humongous win with over 92 seats, while Congress their fiernce competitor just won 18 of them. Not only that they made their presence felt in Goa with winning 2 seats, a place where Aam Aadmi Party was not even considered winning a single vote.
The win in Punjab and getting off the mark in Goa is an indicator of many things. First, it means Aaam Admi Party is now looking to be the recognized as a PAN India political party. Delhi has been their hub and now Punjab adds to it. After that their presence are now felt on Goa and they are all set to bench their mark in the campaigns at Gujarat elections at the later part of the year. Thereby, AAM Aadmi party now hopes for a PAN India recognition.
Secondly, the people of India are now looking up to AAM Aadmi party as well as being the major competitor to BJP. While Congress are on ruins, and other parties are limited to regional level, the citizen of India now feels its a right time for an opposition to grow to stop one political party to safely rule the country which might lead to dictatorship. And, there is no better way AAP is promoting itself, winning and getting the confidence of the people to get into the category of PAN India opposition party.
Therefore, AAM AADMI Party might be the party for AAM Janata in the decades to come. Its still the beginning of the journey of a still newly created political party to get India wide recognition but the journey has started. While, it is a truth to be told that Bhartiya Janata Party will surely rule the nation for at least the next decade, we are seeing the emergence of a party which might compete and even win against it the future.
