Is the situation in Bengal far worse than Ukraine

Over the course of seven days, there have been three explosions in West Bengal that have been attributed to illegal firecrackers.Suvendu Adhikari, the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticised the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal on Monday after a third explosion linked to illegal firecrackers was recorded in the state. “The situation in West Bengal is far worse than the situation in Ukraine,” the opposition leader in the state house declared.”West Bengal’s situation is worse than Ukraine’s. Ukraine does not experience the same level of explosion as Bengal.

In the state’s Birbhum district, the recent explosion allegedly took place in the home of a regional TMC leader. Similar occurrences that occurred earlier on Sunday in the South 24 Parganas area resulted in the deaths of three family members. On May 16, a massive explosion followed by two back-to-back bombings left 12 people dead in the Purba Medinipur area.Adhikari also discussed the Supreme Court’s hearing on TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee’s petition challenging the Calcutta high court order allowing the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) to investigate him in connection with the multi-billion School Service Commission recruitment scam, which is scheduled for May 26.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED), he claimed, had abandoned Mamata Banerjee in the Saradha chit fund scandal and her nephew Abhishek Banerjee in the matter of coal and cow smuggling. The TMC leader was previously detained by the CBI for questioning about the school recruitment scandal; however, he afterwards blasted the agency for its prompt summons of him.
