The Jagannath Express bus service to Puri town will be operated by the State government very soon. Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, the chief advisor to the chief minister’s office, announced today that the government’s LaCCMI scheme will provide devotees with a phased bus service to Puri.
“The LAccMI bus service is currently offered from the block headquarters to the Gram Panchayat. The bus will link to district headquarters in the upcoming phase. Phase-by-phase, the district headquarters to Puri via Bhubaneswar will be served by the Jagannath bus service. Mohapatra remarked, “It would be a great service for devotees,” as he was examining the Srimandir Parikrama Project’s artwork.
The Chief Minister will announce the bus services. He reported the smooth progress of the Sri Setu and Jagannath Ballav parking projects. Purnahuti will begin on January 17 and Yanja on January 12. Devotees in large numbers will assemble to witness the divine event. He stated, “I hope they will all express satisfaction after using these facilities.”
