The presence of many vicious dogs (mainly pitbulls and rottweilers) trained to bite anyone wearing “khaki” clothing shocked the Kottayam police during a surprise search they had planned at the home of a guy they suspected of being a drug dealer.Robin had rented the home, and K Karthick, the superintendent of police (SP) in Kottayam, claimed that Robin was well-known for training dogs in the neighbourhood.
The breeder, Robin George, who had previously sold marijuana, managed to flee during the raid, but not before letting a number of dogs run amok. A second person who was thought to be a customer also succeeded in leaving the area.Although there was initially a problem, “the dogs were subdued and over 17 kilogrammes of ganja worth lakhs was seized from the site,” according to authorities.
He (the accused) was residing here on a rental basis and was well-known to everyone in the neighbourhood as a dog trainer, according to our preliminary research. People used to leave their pets with him when they went outside and pay him Rs 1,000 a day for him to take care of the dogs.
