CM Patnaik said, “It is a novel initiative to integrate data of 76 lakh farmers in the Farmers’ Database. A large number of farmers of Odisha will also be getting identity cards. With this, farmers of the State can avail Government facilities with ease.”
According to reports, the classification or the verification of the farmers in the Database will be concluded within 100 days. The identity cards will also be provided in that period. All the farmers are not required to come down to the Government office on repeated events to avail of the facilities. For their benefits, they can sit at home and avail of those online.
