It has been raining in several parts of Odisha since yesterday night. It all seems that the heavenly abode couldn’t hold their tears and is pouring them down for the demise of the legendary Ollywood actor Mihir Das. Not only did the heavens cry, but the whole of Odisha was in tears when the superstar mixed with the flames to start his journey from this world to the world of eternity.
There were loud chants of ‘Mihir Bhai Amar Rahe’, where the superstar was peacefully sleeping surrounded by his loyal fans. As per the commitment of the state government, Mihir Das was consigned to flames on Cuttack on Wednesday with full state honors.
Apart from family members and friends, a large number of people, including political leaders, Ollywood artists, fans, and others gathered at the crematorium and bid a tearful adieu to the departed actor.
The actor might have passed away but his legacy will remain forever in the Odia Film Industry.
