Light Rain Likely In Odisha For Next Five Days

Over the next five days, beginning on February 19, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast moderate rain in a number of Odisha districts. On February 19, Balasore and Mayurbhanj are predicted to see light rain or thunderstorms, per the IMD’s meteorological report. Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, and Kendrapara may see mild to moderate rain on February 20. Because of the potential for thunderstorms, the IMD has issued a yellow warning for these locations.

Light to moderate rain is predicted for Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, and other locations on February 21. Additionally, the IMD has issued a warning of lightning-filled thunderstorms in areas of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Balasore, and the surrounding districts. Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, and other districts are expected to get light rain on February 22. Additionally, these locations are under a yellow alert.

Lastly, rain is predicted for various areas of Odisha, including Balasore, Bhadrak, and Sundargarh, on February 23. In certain regions, the IMD has also issued a yellow warning for lightning and thunderstorms. The IMD expects that during the following two days, the minimum (night) temperature will climb by 2-3°C in addition to the rain. After then, there won’t be any notable temperature variations.
