Locals claim that a man died after being struck by a vehicle in the convoy of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari

The tragedy happened late on Thursday night, causing neighbours to block the route for more than an hour.
Locals in Chandipur, in the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal, claim that a man died after allegedly being struck by a vehicle in the convoy of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) politician Suvendu Adhikari.”The deceased Seikh Israfil was crossing the NH near a petrol pump when he was struck by a car at 10.30 pm and declared dead at a local hospital,” a senior district police official said. We have not yet verified whether the aforementioned car is, as some have reported, a part of Suvendu Adhikari’s convoy.None of the saffron party’s leaders, including Adhikari, responded to the matter.
