Over the west-central Bay of Bengal off the coast of Andhra Pradesh, the clearly visible low pressure has deepened into a depression. The well-known low-pressure region over the west-central and adjacent southwest Bay of Bengal has moved somewhat northward, concentrating into a depression over the west-central Bay of Bengal off the coast of Andhra Pradesh, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
About 370 kilometers to the east-northeast of Chennai, Tamil Nadu; 450 kilometers to the south of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh; and 640 kilometers to the south-southwest of Gopalpur, Odisha, are its approximate locations. According to the IMD, the system is probably going to move north-northeast during the course of the following day.
Due to low pressure, the temperature in the Capital city Bhubaneswar also dipped to 18.2°C, which was recorded 26.8 at 2.30 PM on Friday.
