“Maha Kumbh: Magh Purnima ‘Snan’ Today, Prayagraj Declared No-Vehicle Zone”

AI-enabled cameras and drones have been deployed across the Mela area in Prayagraj to ensure the safety and security of thousands of devotees attending the Maha Kumbh Mela. The surveillance system will monitor the movements of visitors to the Triveni Sangam, which is witnessing an overwhelming turnout this year. According to Additional Mela Officer Vivek Chaturvedi, an unexpected surge in the number of devotees has been observed, with a large crowd gathered for the ‘Magh Purnima’ snan, which is taking place throughout Wednesday.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reported that over 45 crore devotees have already participated in the holy ‘Triveni bath’ during the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela. Chaturvedi reassured that all necessary arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the event, and the ‘Magh Purnima’ bath will continue throughout the day. The authorities are taking extra precautions to manage the massive crowds and ensure the spiritual event proceeds safely and efficiently.
