Miss World Contestants Visit Singareni Seva Samithi Stall at Indira Mahila Shakti Bazaar

 Praises showered on Seva Samithi Products

Singareni Bhavan, May 22, 2025:
As part of the Miss World pageant tour, contestants visited Shilparamam in Hyderabad on Thursday. Following this, they toured the Indira Mahila Shakti Bazaar located nearby, where they visited the Singareni Seva Samithi stall run by self-help women entrepreneurs.

The contestants expressed delight while exploring the bags, hand purses, and handloom garments displayed at the stall – all crafted by women trained under various Seva Samithi units from different SCCL areas. They interacted warmly with the women entrepreneurs present, took selfies, and inquired about the process behind the handmade products.

The Miss World delegates appreciated the quality and craftsmanship of the items on display, remarking that the products were beautifully made. Receiving praise from international beauty icons filled the Samithi members with pride and joy.

The Seva Samithi women expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Sri N. Balram, Chairman & Managing Director, SCCL, for providing them with training and encouraging their journey toward self-employment. They also thanked him for coordinating with the State Government to secure a stall at such a prestigious venue.

They further extended their thanks to SERP CEO Smt. Divya Devarajan for not only facilitating the stall setup in a prominent location like Hyderabad but also providing accommodation and transport. They acknowledged her efforts in bringing the Miss World contestants to the venue, thereby helping promote their handmade products on a global platform.
