The deadline for purchasing MO KHATA organic compost at a reduced cost of Rs 10 per kilogram has been extended by the Odisha government to December 31.
All users, including the departments of Forest and Environment, Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, Panchayatiraj and Drinking Water, SC and ST Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare, Handlooms, Textiles, and Handicrafts, have been informed of the government’s approval regarding the extension period by the Housing and Urban Development department.
The extension was created to get rid of the stock that was on hand and to spread awareness of “MO Khata” among the public. The Urban Development department has asked all users and the department to notify all Subordinate and Field Level offices as needed to continue purchasing Organic Compost from MCC outlets throughout the State for the discounted price of Rs. 10 per KG through December 31.
