7th pay commission, central Govt. has called an end to the current practice of not to accept night duty allowance to all employee with particular grade pay.
There is a big decision taken by Modi govt. in the recommendation of the 7th central pay commission for night duty allowance issued by dept of personnel and training has ended by the Central Govt, will be effective from 1st July 2017.
A uniform weightage of 10 minutes will be given for an hour of night duty performed. There will be no compensation, wherever the working hour has been arrived at after taking into account in night weightage factor, duty performed between 10 pm and 6 am will be considered as night duty.
There is a slot on the basic pay for which will be applicable. The DoPT says, “The ceiling of basic pay for entitlement of Night Duty Allowance shall be Rs. 43600/- per month.”
The Government will pay NDA at the hourly rate equal to BP+DA/200. The basic pay and DA for the calculation of NDA rates will be the basic pay and DA prevalent as per the 7th Pay Commission. The formula will apply to employees of all ministries and departments.
The Government will work out the amount of NDA separately for each employee depending upon the basic pay of the concerned employee on the date of performing night duty.
The Narendra Modi govt had allowed invalid pension to Armed forces person. with less than 10 years of service. The armed forces personal who joined 4th Jan 2020 after, the specific benefits will be available to them and this proposal is approved by the Ministry of Defence.
As per the dept of expenditure, an office memorandum has been issued on subject travelling allowance rule-submission of boarding pass along with TA bill. For this issue, the central govt has given huge relief to those central govt employees facing problem with their travelling allowance.
