Snehil Agarwal is a dynamic entrepreneur whose innovative vision spans industries, from metals and aluminum to real estate. His journey of determination and relentless pursuit of excellence is setting new benchmarks for business in Odisha and beyond.After completing his BBA at King’s College London, Snehil returned to India with a strong desire to forge his own path. “I didn’t want to continue in my father’s construction business. I wanted to build something of my own,” he shared. This drive led him to acquire an NCLT company facing bankruptcy, marking the beginning of his entrepreneurial journey.
Transforming the Aluminum Industry
At just 21, Snehil revitalized a shut-down aluminum factory, laying the foundation for his company, Narayan. Today, Narayan holds an 80% market share in Bhubaneswar and has expanded operations across India. With strategic access to raw materials from NALCO, Snehil has positioned his company for global expansion, with exports already reaching Canada, the UK, and plans for Dubai and Bangladesh.
Breaking New Ground in Real Estate
Snehil recently ventured into real estate, focusing on luxury properties in Odisha. His unique approach, such as the Japanese-inspired landscaping in his Bhubaneswar project, sets his work apart. “Our aim is to bring something different to the market,” he explained. He’s also eyeing Puri’s real estate opportunities, driven by the new airport’s development.
Diversifying into New Sectors
Expanding his business acumen, Snehil has entered the automobile and defense sectors, partnering with global brands like Ford. His company is also tapping into Dubai’s real estate market, alongside growing aluminum exports.
A Vision for Global Expansion
Snehil plans to transform his business into a global powerhouse. “We’re opening offices in the UK, Canada, and Dubai, and already exporting to markets like Bangladesh,” he shared. His target is ₹100 crore in annual profit, signaling the realization of his long-term vision.
Building a Legacy for the Future
Despite his youth, Snehil is committed to nurturing young talent and fostering a culture of experimentation and fresh ideas. He values work-life balance, encouraging employees to take time off to foster creativity.
His leadership style mirrors companies like Indigo, empowering young professionals. Snehil also emphasizes diversity, with a gender-balanced team, particularly in marketing.
The Road Ahead: Entrepreneurship and Personal Aspirations
Snehil encourages young people to pursue entrepreneurship, despite its challenges. He is also exploring new opportunities like furniture exports, driven by the global shift away from China. Long-term, Snehil aspires to break into the film industry once his financial goals are met. “London inspired me to dream big, and I hope to one day make a film,” he shared.
Passionate about sports, Snehil is building a golf course at his new home and has a deep love for cricket. He also dreams of owning a luxury car, an achievement he plans to reach through hard work and perseverance.
