Naveen Patnaik Addresses Pipili Constituents For Pipili By-Poll

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik addressed the people of poll-bound Pipili Assembly constituency on video conferencing and even talked about the re-imposed Covid-19 restrictions which need to be strictly followed by each and everyone in Odisha.

While speaking to the constituents, CM Patnaik stated that the region of Pipili-Delang has a distinguished history with the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation who stayed in Beraboi Ashram for eight days. The art and artisans of this domain are globally famous and he further salutes this land.

With the recent surge of the Covid-19 cases, Odisha CM couldn’t able to personally come and visit the people of Pipili. He stated that the people of Pipili love him a lot and if he would have visited that a large number of people would have turned up to bless him and he doesn’t want any kind of danger to the citizens due to which he decided to talk to them via video conferencing.

CM further talked about that whether it’s a farmer’s issue or for the welfare of the poor, Odisha Government has always made a mark for itself. And today all the women are leading projects under the Mission Shakti which turned out to be a major achievement in the direction of women empowerment.

Lastly, CM Patnaik requested all the people to vote for the ‘Shankh’ (conch) symbol in large numbers and also assured that he will personally look after the development works of the Pipili-Delang region. He then cautioned the people to be very careful about the spread of coronavirus and ensured the people put on masks while stepping outside their house.

Even recently during the Odisha Cabinet meeting which was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, took nine major decisions including the establishment of a cancer hospital in Bhubaneswar.

The decisions of the cabinet related to the departments of ST & SC Development, General Administration & Public Grievance, Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, and Steel and Mines.

Major decisions included the establishment of Bahchi-Karunashraya Palliative Care center at Bhubaneswar; establishment of Bagchi-Shankara Cancer care center at Bhubaneswar; continuation of the scheme ANWESHA for providing quality education to ST & SC students; amendment of Odisha welfare service rules-1992; amendment of Odisha Subordinate welfare service rules-1992, and framing of Odisha Laboratory Technician Service (Methods of Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Amendment Rules, 2021.

Other proposals include the amendment of Odisha Minerals (Prevention of Theft, Smuggling and Illegal Mining and Regulation of Possession, Storage, Trading and Transportation) Rules, 2007; amendment of Odisha Superior Judicial Service and Odisha Judicial Service Rules, 2007 and to lay the Annual Report on the working of the Odisha Public Service Commission for the year 2016-17.
