Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah once again stoked rumors about his party potentially forming an alliance with the BJD in Odisha by claiming that no decision has been made yet.
“A decision on it will be made by the national president of the BJP. We will undoubtedly become more powerful in Odisha. Our employees welcome the fondness that the people of Odisha feel for Prime Minister Modi with kindness and humility, according to Shah.
Shah stated on March 16 that PM Narendra Modi and BJP national president J P Nadda will make a final decision regarding the partnership. If an alliance is formed, both parties will run for office together, drawing strength from Biju Patnaik’s leadership. “However, the BJP will fight to form the state government in the event that there is no coalition,” he continued.
According to the senior BJP leader, the BJD has been supporting the BJP in Parliament on the basis of issues for the good of the country. He said, “That’s the beauty of democracy.”
