No Hindu, No Muslim, No Dalit Only ‘Bihari’

Plurals, recently formed party, on Monday handout its first list of 40 candidates for the first phase election of Bihar.

This new party skimmed by Pushpam Priya Choudhary, who has studied at London School of Economics has selected engineers, doctors, social activists, businessman, naval officials, educators, teacher as their contender.

Publishing the list of contenders on her facebook page, Pushpam Priya Choudhary said that she will deliver the list of 31 additional contenders in next 24 to 36 hours.

What is intriguing in the list of contenders delivered by Pushpam Priya Choudhary is the way that like a large portion of the parties there is a segment for religion wherein each contenders has been distinguished as “Bihari”.

A large portion of the party do recognize their contenders based on their religion or caste however this is another activity taken by Pushpam Priya Chaudhary where she has distinguished her applicants as only a “Bihari”.

Through this move, Pushpam Priya Choudhary is attempting to associate with the individuals of the state and convey a message that she has not entered in politics to do politics based on standing and religion.

Pushpam Priya Choudhary had made a wave in the political hover in Bihar in March this year when she gave a full page advertisement in each paper where she declared that her recently formed party”Plurals” would challenge the forthcoming election in the state and she was the CM contender from her party.
