According to the Health and Family Welfare Department, no critical paediatric COVID patient in Odisha is on ventilator support. The occupancy for 179 beds with ventilator support for the paediatric patients was nil till September 5.
As per the Health and Family Welfare Department data, two babies were admitted to the ICU. With 674 ICU/HDU beds available for this group, the occupancy is 0.3 per cent.
Further it added that the occupancy rate of general beds is 0.82 per cent. Only 13 babies were admitted to the 1,585 beds available in the general COVID ward till September 5.
