The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) is doing everything in its power to ensure that the much-anticipated India-England one-day encounter at the Barbati Stadium is a huge success, with just four days to go. For the first time, the OCA has set up a legendary lounge where state celebrities can watch the game. Thirty distinguished visitors, including Padma Award winners Haldhar Nag, Jitendra Haripal, Pratibha Satpathy, Sudarshan Patnaik, Aruna Mohanty, and Sudarshan Sahu, will be hosted in the VIP pavilion.
Starting tomorrow, tickets for the game will be offered for sale online, to organizations connected to OCA, and then at the stadium counter. The Commissionerate Police have made substantial security plans to ensure peace and order throughout the two days that ticket sales will be held. To guarantee that fans have a seamless experience purchasing tickets, a total of 17 platoons of troops have been deployed. Fans are encouraged to attend early to minimize any inconvenience as the counter will open at 9 am.
Next Sunday comes the India-England encounter, and the OCA is prepared to give players, officials, and fans an experience of the highest caliber.
