Odia Film Director Raju Mishra Passes Away Due To Heart Attack


Another loss to the Ollywood industry, Eminent Odia film director Raju Mishra passed away at his residence in Khurda.

Raju Mishra was a successful director who directed many hits films and brilliant careers to many ollywood actors. Apart from the direction, he was also a cinematographer and a writer too. He was an extremely talented director and directed many superhit movies in Ollywood. He gave his direction in many movies like Chaka Akhi Sabu Dekhuchi, Pua Mora Kala Thakura, Sagara Ganga, Rupa Ganra Suna Kania, Sata Michha, Asuchhi Mo Kalia Suna, Jor Jar Mulaka Tara, Jibana Mrutyu, Hari Bhai Harena, Mamata Mage Mula, Singha Bahini and Pathara Khasuchhi Bada Deulu.

For his incredible work, he was awarded many prestigious awards like Jayadeb Samman. Apart from this, he was also awarded many awards due to his profound contribution to Odia movies.

At the age of 72, Mishra breathes his last breath at his residence in Jatni in Khurda district on Monday. His wife Pratima Manjari informed the media about the news. She further said that Mishra suffered a massive heart attack while sitting on a chair. Before they could do something, he already passed away. She also stated that his husband recently went under heart surgery. Apart from the surgery, Mishra had also suffered a mild brain stroke very recently.
