Five Indian states – Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan have received Certificate of Excellence at the 8th National Review Conference.
These states were awarded for successfully integrating their land records with National Crop Insurance Programme (NCIP) portal to ensure transparency in the enrolment and claim process.
“These efforts have made the Prime Minister Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), even more farmer-friendly,” the PMFBY stated in a tweet.
