The scheme aims to preserve and revitalize Odisha’s heritage monuments and temples, showcasing the state’s distinct identity. It achieves this by promoting the integrated development of an environment that is aesthetically pleasing, easily accessible, informative, and secure, along with effective public facilities and infrastructure. Under the program, up to 159 projects have been undertaken, with a total projected cost of Rs 1412.79 crore.
The State Cabinet approved the Scheme at a cost outlay of Rs.1412.79 Crore and the scheme will be implemented from 2020-21 to 2026-27.
