A high-level team led by the Chief Minister traveled to Japan to promote business prospects in Odisha. The Minister of Industries, MSME, and Energy is part of the delegation, along with the Chief Secretary of the Government of Odisha, the Principal Secretaries of the Departments of Industries and E&IT, the Secretary to the CM, the Secretary of Sports and Youth Services, and the Managing Director of IPICOL. Leading businessmen from the steel, aluminum, textile, food and seafood processing, green hydrogen, and green ammonia industries are also part of a corporate delegation from Odisha. The group will look at possible ways to work with Japanese investors.
The Chief Minister expressed his hope that the visit will deepen ties between Japan and Odisha and provide both parties a chance to pursue mutually beneficial endeavors after touching down in Tokyo. The Chief Minister also expressed his gratitude to the Japanese people and government for their warmth and hospitality shown to the delegation, and he stated his hope that the visit will help to forge closer cultural relations between the two countries.
A key step in promoting Odisha as a top investment location and developing deeper connections between Japan and Odisha is the Chief Minister’s trip with the state delegation to Japan.
