Daily positive COVID cases in Odisha continues to remain stable. The number is hovering near the 1500 mark for the past few days. In the last 24 hours as per the reports of the I and PR department, the state witnessed 1,539 new Covid-19 cases.
Out of 1,539 new Covid-19 cases, 342 were from 0-18 age group people. However, what remained the concern is the daily mortality rate due to COVID complications.
In the last 24 hours as per the reports of the I and PR department, the State confirmed 24 more fatalities. Among the fresh cases reported today, 897 are from quarantine while 642 are local contact cases. Khordha, including Bhubaneswar, reported a maximum of 223 cases followed by 124 in Sundargarh, 119 in Angul and 85 in Cuttack.
