A girl who has charged Odia film producer Akshay Parija of sexual abuse for more than a year has accused him of using a casting couch. A complaint made by the girl at the Laxmisagar police station in Bhubaneswar said that the Ollywood film producer had been abusing her sexually for 1.5 years while promising to put her in his film.
Official sources state that the girl also claimed to have given the police some of her private photos taken with Akshay in order to prove her accusation. However, Akshay has vehemently denied the claim, claiming that the girl was involved in a plot to discredit him. Despite the fact that he acknowledged knowing the girl, he insisted he did not have close contact with her.
He continued by saying that the girl is a member of a group that is extorting money from him and that the gang, which consists of three to four members, engages in similar acts. In order to disclose the truth, he is also working with the police.
“I also have the photographs of my meeting with the girl and will produce those before the police during the investigation,” he added.
