Odisha Govt Appoints Saswata Mishra As Principal Secretary Of Finance Department

Saswata Mishra, a senior IAS officer, was named Principal Secretary of the Finance Department by the State government today. According to a notification from the Department of Public Grievances and General Administration, Mishra is permitted to continue holding the additional positions of Chairman of the OSSSC and Principal Secretary of the Energy Department.

“Saswata Mishra, IAS (IRR-1996), Principal Secretary to Governor, Odisha with additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department , Principal Secretary to Government, Energy Department and Chairman, OSSSC is appointed as Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department. He is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary to Government, Energy Department and Chairman, OSSSC,” the notification read.

N.B.S. Rajput, an IAS officer from the 1999 batch, has also returned from central deputation. He has been named the Governor of Odisha’s Principal Secretary.
