Senior IPS officers in the State underwent a small reorganization on Wednesday, according to the Odisha government.
Brijesh Kumar Ray, currently Additional C.P., Commissionerate of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, has been transferred and posted as D.I.G. of Police, Intelligence in-charge, Security Wing, while Dayal Gangwar, currently ADGP, Railways & Coastal Security, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Modernization, according to an official notification issued by the Home Department.
In addition, Awinash Kumar, the current D.I.G. of Police, SAP, was transferred and posted as Additional C.P., Commissionerate of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, and Rajesh Kumar, the current ADGP, Modernization, has been posted as ADGP, Railways & Coastal Security with Additional charge of Director, SFSL.
