Even though, there has been no official news from the government of Odisha, the numbers suggest that Odisha has entered into the third wave of COVID virus. There has been a huge spike in the daily number of cases in the state for last three to four days. As per the reports in the last 24 hours, there has been 680 new COVID positive cases. The TPR is also alarming at 1.31%.

The state had seen 424 COVID positive cases on Monday, 424 cases on Sunday, 298 cases on Saturday, 228 cases on Friday, and 225 cases on Thursday.
