Odisha Police has bagged the first position as the State with the best implementation of the Inter-operational Criminal Justice System project under the pillar ‘Forensic’.
According to the official reports, the award was announced by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) in the Conference of Good Practices in CCTNS/ICJS.
Further, the second position has been jointly shared by Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh has ranked third. DGP Abhay complimented and congratulated the State Crime Records Bureau of Odisha and the State Forensic Science Laboratory for the achievement.
“We feel proud for the award. Forensics of our ICJS has earned the distinction at the national level,” says DGP Abhay.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also congratulated via Twitter, where he stated – “Congratulations @odisha_police on receiving first prize for best implementation of Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS). #Odisha has been announced winner at Conference of Good Practices in #CCTNS for integration of forensic science in ICJS. #OdishaLeads.”
