Odisha Crime Branch’s Special Task Force (STF) seized five deer skins with the arrest of two wildlife criminals near the Pipli flyover on Thursday.
The STF team had conducted a raid with the help of Balipatna Forest Range officials on the basis of reliable information regarding illegal possession of deer skins by wildlife criminals, under Khordha Forest Division yesterday.
After that, the accused persons namely Krushna Chandra Swain of Ketaki Patana under Balanga Police Station, and Sunil Kumar Palei of Netigada village under Gop Police Station, both in Puri district were apprehended.
