Under the “Godabarisha Vidyarthi Protsahana Yojana,” the Odisha government will give qualifying meritorious Plus II students financial aid of Rs 30,000 apiece to purchase laptops. The application process is set to start on November 2. According to the Higher Education Department’s notification, the financial help would be sent straight to the recipients’ bank accounts via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Subject to the specified guidelines, students who have passed the Annual Higher Secondary Examination administered by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, and the test administered by Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, will be eligible for the help. Students who completed the exams in 2025 but were unable to apply will also be able to do so via the online site, which will be a relief to those who missed the last registration window.

Students who meet the eligibility requirements are required to register on the scholarship portal using their Aadhaar IDs and Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers. They must submit the necessary data and follow the rules to finish the application procedure. Starting on November 2, 2026, the online application procedure will run through November 19, 2026.
