Due to the western disturbance and moisture incursion from the Bay of Bengal at the lower-level Odisha will witness a change in the weather. Reportedly, it is expected that light to moderate rainfall activity is very likely to occur from today and on 4th February 2022 over districts of Odisha.
According to the regional Meteorological centre, isolated thunderstorm accompanied with hail is likely to occur in some districts of Odisha during this period. Some impact on agriculture is expected due to this weather phenomenon.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, and at one or two places over the rest of the districts of North Odisha, and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of South Odisha on February 3. A yellow warning has been issued for these districts. Hailstorms are very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundergarh, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj districts.
Whereas, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha & at a few places over the districts of South Odisha on February 4. A yellow warning has been issued over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj.
