At Dumas Beach in Surat, the 36th National Games’ Beach Volleyball competition got underway. In a tense match, the Odisha women’s team defeated Telangana by a score of 2-0 sets. Telangana had a formidable squad that included players who had previously represented India (21-19 & 22-20).
According to sources, Odisha defeated Kerala by a score of 2-0 sets in today’s second match (21-16 & 21-11). With two victories, the Odisha Women’s Team moved on to the quarterfinal round and will face Karnataka in their last league game. Odisha Team won its opening match against Tamil Nadu Team in the men’s division, walking away with a victory.
