Eco Retreat, the annual centerpiece event of Odisha Tourism, will commence on December 1 at seven sites, and visitors may reserve their stay in 220 luxury tents starting on September 15. On Sunday, the Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) made this announcement at its 44th Foundation Day. In Konark, Putsil, Sonapur, Daringbadi, Bhitarkanika, Satkosia, and Hirakud, the fifth Eco Retreat Odisha will take place. On the menu is an unmatched glamping experience with luxury, adventure, local culture, delectable Odia food, and beautiful folk music and dance.
Lenin Mohanty, the chairman of the OTDC, stated that the event has become the face of Odisha Tourism, which promotes ecotourism in the state. He also emphasized how OTDC helps the economy by generating job opportunities and advancing the state’s enterprises. According to him, the organization “played a crucial role in preserving our cultural heritage and natural beauty” and generated a profit of Rs 5 crore in the previous fiscal year.
On this occasion, Panthanivas Bhubaneswar also opened its twelve freshly refurbished rooms. Unit managers and OTDC’s top-performing units, which excelled in the previous fiscal year, were honored. The two Panthanivas hotels, Panthanivas Puri and Panthanivas Gopalpur, were determined to be the top performers. Nimantran Bhubaneswar received a prize as well.
