27 industrial projects totaling Rs 6,134.52 crore were authorized by the State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of Odisha on Friday. At an SLSWCA meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena, the projects were authorized. These would be implemented throughout ten districts, creating 42,275 new job opportunities.
The initiatives encompass a variety of industrial domains, such as ferro alloys, IT, food processing, downstream aluminum, plastic, apparel and textile, and renewable energy. At Baliguda in the Kandhamal district, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. has proposed a 63 mw hydro power project with an investment of Rs 787.48 crore.
In Khurda, Premium Transmission Venture plans to invest Rs 555 crore in a plant that will produce equipment for industrial transmission and renewable energy.
