A 37 year old man from Delhi is the latest person to get detected with the Omicron Virus. The person had returned from Tanzania where he most probably have contacted with the virus. Currently, he is admitted to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital.
According to the reports from the hospital, the patient has mild symptoms and he had taken both doses of the vaccine. The patient is under observation and will be strictly monitored in the next few days.
This is India’s fifth case of Omicron with cases earlier detected in Gujarat, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Researches are still on a roll to find out if Omicron is more lethal than Delta virus.
