Pritiranjan Gharai, the minister of skill development and technical education, informed the Odisha Assembly today that a total of 11,06,536 youngsters are now enrolled in the live register of the State’s different Employment Exchanges.
In response to a question from Rajnagar MLA Dhrub Charan Sahoo, Gharai stated that through the Employment Exchanges, employment have been offered to 1053, 83, 172, 59, and 49 adolescents in various government and commercial organizations in the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 (up to June 2023) correspondingly.
According to their educational qualifications, 1,75,359 youngsters, 60,976 youths, 1,59,650 youths, 1,68,629 youths, and 3,55,258 youths have registered their names with Employment Exchanges for the years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 (up to June 2023) correspondingly, Gharai said.
