The whole world is worried about nuclear weapons. Various steps have been taken globally to curb the construction of these weapons. Such agreements have been signed on the platforms of the countries.
Pakistan has refused to abide by the nuclear weapons deal. On Friday, Pakistan said it was not obliged to abide by the agreement. This is because the agreement has failed to take into account the interests of all stakeholders. The agreement on nuclear weapons has been in force since January 22. Towards the end of World War II, the United States dropped atomic bombs on Japan’s Hiroshima, and Nagasaki. The campaign has since begun to prevent a recurrence of the incident. So it was implemented a few days later.
Some nations have welcomed the deal, calling it a historic decision. The agreement was opposed by the United States, China, Russia, the United Kingdom and India. Japan also did not support the agreement. Pakistan’s foreign ministry said in a statement that the agreement, adopted in July 2017, had been negotiated without the permission of the United Nations Disarmament Forum. According to the statement, Pakistan is not bound by any of the mandatory agreements in the agreement.
