Without naming names, a former bureaucrat who entered politics and is now a top Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader criticized Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for not opening even one Kendriya Vidyalaya in the district of Nabarangpur while holding the position for the previous five years as Education Minister. During his party’s election campaign, Pandian spoke at public gatherings in Umerkote and Jharigaon, which are under the Nabarangpur Parliamentary seat. He said that if the Union Minister had wanted to, he would have opened three or four Kendriya Vidyalays in the Nabarangpur district.
Conversely, he said, the Odisha government has implemented 5T in over 8,000 high schools. According to the top BJD official, the Union Minister is irritated with the Chief Minister for providing so many welfare benefits to the public. He clarified that as a result, they are planning to thwart Mission Shakti, the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana, and other initiatives.
According to Pandian, the Chief Minister values and adores indigenous people. He claimed that no state has considered the evolution of native languages, customs, or places of worship. The Chief Minister established a special development council with the aim of safeguarding tribal art and culture. Tribal art, language, culture, and places of worship are all evolving. He told them that 50,000 minor charges would be dropped in favor of tribal people by the Chief Minister.
