Early on Friday morning, Nabin Odisha and 5T Chairman VK Pandian traveled to Puri to assess the status of the Srimandir Parikrama project. He gave the order to expedite the pilgrim town’s numerous mutt restoration projects. Pandian counseled all parties involved to cooperate in granting mutts historical and customary significance throughout the restoration process.
Pandian recommended including a variety of Jagannath-related trees and shrubs in the project’s landscaping. Additionally, he recommended building a scale model of the temple close to Meghanad Prachir. For the convenience of the devotees, he also gave the order to maintain the road leading to the temple clear of any obstacles. He gave the order to make suitable parking arrangements for two-wheelers so that both the military and the general public could find it convenient. He also stressed the importance of moving several utilities out of Meghanad Prachir and finishing the project’s electrical work on time.
In addition, Pandian reviewed the development of the Sri Setu work, the Garden, and the parking lot at Jagannath Ballab. He also gave instructions to finish the work within the allotted time. The chairman of Nabin Odisha and 5T recommended hiring more workers for the task. During the review, MLA Pranab Prakash Das, the District Collector, the SP, and representatives from several executing agencies were present.
