“Param Sundari Shines at Box Office: Sidharth–Janhvi Film Rakes in ₹43 Cr in 3 Days, Surpasses Dhadak 2’s Lifetime Earnings”

After a lukewarm start, Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic comedy Param Sundari is showing signs of recovery at the box office. Mixed-to-positive reviews and growing word-of-mouth have helped the film gain momentum, particularly over the weekend.

On Sunday, the film collected ₹10.25 crore net in India — an 11% jump from Saturday and nearly 40% higher than its opening day numbers. With this, Param Sundari closed its opening weekend at Rs26.75 crore net (Rs32 crore gross) domestically.

The overseas response has also been encouraging, with strong collections in the US and UK. Trade estimates suggest the film has earned over $1.1 million (approximately ₹11 crore) internationally, taking its worldwide opening weekend total to an impressive ₹43 crore.

With this, Param Sundari has already surpassed the lifetime box office of Dhadak 2, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, which ended its run at ₹36 crore worldwide. However, the film still trails far behind July’s blockbuster Saiyaara, featuring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, which earned ₹117 crore in its first three days and has since grossed over ₹570 crore globally.

Whether Param Sundari can sustain its upward trajectory now depends on the crucial Monday test.
