In Ambaji in Gujarat’s Banaskantha district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the cornerstone and dedicated many projects totaling more than Rs 7,200 crores. Additionally, he congratulated all 61,000 recipients of housing projects and gave seven beneficiaries of various housing schemes their keys. He dedicated the event and set the cornerstone for the roughly 45,000 homes that would be constructed via the PM Awas Yojana.
According to the official sources, Prime Minister Modi declared that the Gujarat government finished building 1.50 lakh homes for the Economically Weaker Sections and other groups in 2021. 3 crore economically disadvantaged persons nationwide would benefit from the PM Awas Yojana in 2021.
The Taranga Hill – Ambaji – Abu Road New Broad Gauge Line’s foundation stone was set by the prime minister. He disclosed that the idea for the project originated during British administration in 1930. “The necessity for this was acknowledged one hundred years ago, but sadly, it wasn’t done for such a long time. Maybe Maa Amba wanted me to handle it. We are fortunate to have this chance to dedicate this at the feet of Amba Mata in the year of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, he remarked.
According to the prime minister, he wants to build so many attractions near the Ambaji temple that visitors will need to plan a 2- to 3-day itinerary to see them all. “On the one side, Ambaji is the place of devotion and prayer, while on the other, we have India’s frontiers where our jawans are posted,” said Prime Minister Modi.
Among those present on the event were the Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel, the Union Minister of Railways, Ashvini Vaishnav, the Union Minister of State for Railways, Darshana Vikram Jardosh, and the MPs C.R. Patil, Prabatbhai Patel, Bharasinh Dhabi, and Dineshbhai Anavaidya.
